Dimple Hayati Criminal Case: One of the most shocking cases lodged against Dimple Hayati and her husband was in Filmnagar, Hyderabad, where it was reported that a domestic servant from Orissa lodged a complaint at the Filmnagar Police Station alleging harassment, verbal abuse, and non-payment for work done. Based on this statement, the police registered a case, and investigation commenced.
In her allegations, Mrs. Hayati and her husband verbally abused her. Among other remarks, “My shoes aren’t worth my money”, was a remark made by Hayati, completely grossly undermining her dignity. The domestic help claims that she was beaten without reason and has suffered immense embarrassment from the household.
The maid accused the actress and her husband of not paying her an accused salary. Though over time she had requested payment, she said payment was never made, with her work being nothing less than house chores against her will. He added to that complaint some actions to threaten and ill-treat him.
The most serious allegation advanced by the maid was that some attempts were made to undress her and tape obscene videos under the cover of intimidation. She went on to state that threats of physical violence had also accompanied the continuous harassment since this has ominous alarm about working conditions during which she had been subjected.
On receipt of the complaints, the Philanthropic (Film Nagar) police registered a case against Dimple Hayati and her husband. The officials have confirmed that they are investigating the allegations and are about to question both parties. It had already drawn huge media attention due to Hayati’s feet in the film circle.
