In the candid yet thought-provoking interviews, Hrithik spoke about the box-office collections of the movie and about the challenges and lessons learned in these high-stake projects. Hrithik said while addressing the media, “Every film doesn’t have to be torture and trauma. Sometimes you give your best, and yet, the result does not match the expectations.” Talking about disappointing the fans and crew, the actor declared that failures are building blocks of the evolution of cinema. Such openness about the emotional aspects of filmmaking struck a chord with many, emphasizing once again that even veteran actors have their shares of ups and downs in life.

This being said, Hrithik showered director Ayan Mukerji with praise for his creative sensibilities regardless of how the film performed. Hrithik stated: “Ayan has this quality of storytelling from a very deep and emotional place. It’s always an experience of learning working with him.” He went further to say that while one of the measures of success might be commercial success, far more important is the artistic process of making the film, of working together, and finding out.

Lessons Learned from the Setback
