Surprise at the end
On October 31st audiences will be in for a surprise at the end of Baahubali: The Epic, he said that this surprise is not regarding Baahubali ‘3’ but a completely different aspect.
Baahubali ‘3’ is very much on
In the same interview he said that Baahubali ‘3’ needs a lot of work, it will be only then officially announced when everything falls into place. He went on to reveal that we are planning a number of stories to tell from the Baahubali universe and this re-release is only the beginning of phase-2 of Baahubali universe.
Baahubali: The Epic
Baahubali is released in two parts, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. Now it is combined and is being released as a single part Baahubali: The Epic, the runtime is said to be around more than 4 hours.
Will it hold?
Now the real question arises, will this runtime hold in theatres, because normally Telugu films are only 2 hours and 30 to 40 minutes long. Now this Epic being 4 hours long can be a tricky thing for the audience, because they already watched the films, making them sit for a longer period to show the same thing again can be a mammoth task.
Even if the makers revealed that the film is trimmed to offer a new experience, in totality maybe it can offer something fresh but, that total film is 4 hours long.
Nowadays audiences attention span is too thin and they are immediately switching to a small screen if the bug screen is boring them, Baahubali is a very good film, but it is film that is best experienced like a magic trick, once you see it once, the same thrilling experience will be down when you watch it the second time.
