Early discussions for the project Tere Ishq Mein were stuck with some finalization between Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal as other lead pairs. Reports suggest that these two were in the early talks with the producers for the hotly contested romantic drama. The duo even entered discussions for the movie, yet for some undisclosed reasons, the two eventually dropped out.
Fans were livid as this scenario did not seem to have good signs as the pairing of Vicky and Kiara started to make sense with both actors having independently burned the screens in number of blockbusters. Although some of these reasons may not be clear, the scheduling conflict and some creative differences at the very early stages of the film’s development, have been cited by sources close to the project.
And with that, Vicky and Kiara were out, and into the final list of castings, which was Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, in their first pairing. The chemistry has oilered up. Dhanush-Kriti rollout looks promising for Tere Ishq Mein.
The director is in for another round with Dhanush after their last hit Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re. Another film likely exploring love, loss, and redemption with strong emotional settings; that is the Rai way of storytelling.
Despite some changes in casting changes, Tere Ishq Mein is still one of the most anticipated romantic movies of this year. The audience cannot wait to see how Dhanush and Kriti will be as a new couple, and if they can recreate what Sonam and Dhanush have done previously in their films.
