Ram Charan is currently busy in promoting his much awaited political action thriller and in a recent promotional event he candidly spoke about working on a single film for years and discusses his long break.

Global Star Ram Charan gained international recognition with his outstanding performance in 2022 action thriller RRR and is gearing up for his next solo release after nearly four years. He has not had any theatrical releases since, with the exception of a few cameos in a couple of productions. He recently opened out about a period in his career when he only worked on one project.

During the Game Changer’s promotional event in Mumbai, Ram Charan had a hilarious answer to producer Dil Raju, who congratulated everyone for their efforts as a team in working on this one film for three years.

He compared himself to other performers who have had several releases in recent years. However, when it came to him, he joked that he only made one film in three years.

The actor responded, “Sir, sab log bohot flicks kiye hai. But teen saal mein main ek hi film kiya (Sir, everyone else did several films throughout the years, but I only did one in three years). He also spoke about why his films get delayed and said that he doesn’t know either while also wanting to make movies faster. In response, the host of the event commented that it may be because whenever the actor’s movies hit theaters, everyone is caught in complete awe. Hearing the same, Ram Charan replied, “You please come with me to Hyderabad. You talk so nice that even my wife would become impressed,” erupting laughter among the audience.

Game Changer is Ram Charan’s first solo release in many years, as his previous film, RRR, co-starred Jr. NTR. Following that, he worked on the Shankar-directed film for about three and a half years , which is finally set for grand debut on 10th January, 2025.
