Punjabi Singer Rajvir Jawanda: After fighting for his life for about 12 days, well-known Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away while receiving treatment at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. According to medical officials, the 35-year-old was pronounced dead at 10.55 a.m. on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old’s motorcycle collided with stray animals that unexpectedly emerged on the road on September 27, causing serious head and spinal injuries. The tragedy happened close to Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

Despite receiving rigorous medical care, Jawanda’s neurological state remained serious, with little brain activity and no discernible improvement, according to experts. Soon after the accident, his health was deemed “extremely critical,” and he has been kept on life support ever since.

Who is Rajvir Jawanda?
Jawanda, who lived in Sector 71, Mohali, was well-known for his popular songs, including Sardari, Kamla, Mera Dil, and Surname. His parts in Jind Jaan, Mindo Taseeldarni, and Kaka Ji further cemented his reputation in Punjabi cinema. Jawanda started his musical career in 2014 with the tune Munda Like Me. His soulful voice and lyrics that celebrated Punjabi culture and pride helped him gain rapid fame.
