In the film, Kajol plays the cop and Kriti Sanon plays the very challenging dual role. While promoting her film Kriti Sanon candidly expressed her frustration over Unfair Treatment Due to Comparisons with Her Sister Nupur. Let’s see what Do Patti actress has had to say.
While talking in an interview, Kriti was asked about being compared with her sister, Sanon said, “Nothing has trickled to the extent where our feelings towards each other changed. I don’t think I’ve gone through that, not yet, at least. When I came to the industry, Nupur was very young and she wasn’t in Mumbai at that point and that’s when I saw certain relatives treating us differently and that angered me.”
“When we would go to their place, they treated us differently. They would wish me and Nupur differently on our birthdays. That’s something I found immature. She’s very strong and extremely mature despite being my younger sister. She handles things well and even if something hurts or bothers her, she never lets it come to her face,” The Do Patti actress added.
In the previous year when Nupur asked about comparing with her sister, she candidly said that the comparison used to affect her so much in earlier days. As they are professionally different, she felt comparing them on different scales which is completely unfair. She said You are comparing a newcomer with someone who has an experience of nearly 10 years. She’s at a certain level, especially after her film Mimi. She is a great actor and I aspire to reach that stage first. Nupur went on to say that her criticism or feedback matters to her a lot and that she never wanted to be in a situation where Nupur disappoints her sister Kriti Sanon.
The understanding and unbreakable bond between the sisters is one of the most celebrated aspect of their relationship.
