Akshay Kumar Opens Up About His Film’s Box Office Disappointment. Akshay Kumar, reflecting on his 33-year career, revealed his dedication to hard work and his determination to break his recent box office poor performance. Despite the underperformance of his 2024 releases such as “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” “Sarfira,” and “Khel Khel Mein,” Akshay remains optimistic. But the films with his special appearances in “Stree 2” and “Singham Again,” were box office hits. Akshay is now commited to outperform with his upcoming film Sky Force.


Akshay Kumar On Box Office Failure

In a recent interview, the Sky Force actor said, “It’s not that it has happened for the first time. The best part is you keep on working hard. That is what I tell myself. If anyone talks to me about it, I say the same thing that you have to keep working hard.” He went on to add, that people suggests him to m ake one or two films a year, respondig to that Akshay said, “But I say if I can work, then why not? I have based my entire career on that. Many people have told me not to do content-based films, but I don’t want to leave that. I want to keep working on different kinds of films.”

Talking about his upcoming film Sky Force, Akshay said, “This film required him and he got the part. And that’s the most important thing. We have to be true to the film. If the film requires somebody new, so why not? I love the screenplay and that’s why I took part in it. It’s not about what my role is or is my role bigger than him or not. It is not that, the film is good.”


All About Sky Force

The film Sky Force stars Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and Dinesh Vijan. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur, Sandeep Kewlani this action thriller is produced by Amar Kaushik, Jyoti Deshpande, Dinesh Vijan. The film Sky Force is based on the true real life incidents. The film showcases one of the biggest victories of Indian Air Force. Made with the rumoured budget of Rs 60 crore the film is all set to hit the theatres on 24th January 2025.
