Fauji shoot update

Hanu Raghavapudi is making Fauji with utmost care. More than 60 percent of the shoot has already wrapped up, with only 40% left, makers are planning to release the film in August next year. Fauji is set in the Pre-Independence era. Social media sensation Imanvi is playing the female lead in the film. 

Why a prequel? 

Recently Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara chapter ‘1’ is also a prequel to 2022 blockbuster Kantara. This film too became a big hit by grossing 500 crores at the box office. 

Hanu Raghavapudi is a filmmaker who crafts his stories to perfection. His Sita Ramam is the prime example. So he choosing to do a prequel will definitely have a solid reason. 

Prabhas is busy with back to back films

Prabhas is the busiest actor nowadays, he is committed to more films among all the other stars in the country. He is currently shooting a song in European countries for his upcoming film The Raaja Saab. After the completion of Raaja Saab Prabhas will have to complete Fauji so that his complete focus can shift to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘SPIRIT’. 

Why still no update from ‘Fauji’?

Fauji was officially launched last year, until now makers did not reveal a single look from the film. Fans online are speculating that maybe the film is not coming to the satisfaction of makers, so they are holding back to first complete the film and then release any promotional material. 

Having said that Hanu Raghavapudi never made a bad film, surely all his films except Sita Ramam and Krishnagadi Veeraprema Gaadha became average at the box office. Still he never made a mediocre product, so these speculations may not be true, we have to wait for the official announcement.
