Ram Pothineni: Energetic Star Ram Pothineni is all set to play a fan, a devotee of the star. In his latest film Andhra King Taluka, he is playing a fan who treats his favourite star like a god. Mytri Movie Makers is producing this film, Bhagyasri Borse is playing the love interest in the film.

Obsession

There is a very thin line between deep admiration and obsession, in this film, at least in the teaser released Ram’s character is shown as a loving fan who gets involved in fights with other fans. Obsession is shown when the devotion for the star gets intense. That’s when your whole life will fall apart. You will go to extreme lengths to do what you think is valid and right.

Teaser review

Ram Pothineni steals the show from frame one, he is very much at the centre of each scene, his energy level when celebrating the favourite moments in theatres or outside the theatres are full on mass and fun to watch. Then when the heroine enters the scene, the teaser enters into a soft love story with soothing “Nuvvunte Chaale” background music playing in the background. 

At the end of it the characters face the negative aspects of life being an obsessed fan. Things fall apart and lives get complicated, this film is dealing with themes that are related to present day scenarios.

Theme of the film

Nowadays online comments and opinions regarding stars and their movies between fans are getting viral. This is called the fan wars on X. Recently Pawan Kalyan urged his fans to not engage in this fan wars at the success celebration of They Call Him OG. 

Being a fan is a good thing, it is admiration and aspiration to dream big in one’s lives, but that admiration can easily cross the line and can become self damaging. This is clearly shown in the teaser. 

Mahesh Babu.P is directing this film, he previously made Miss Polishetty and Mr. Shetty with Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty.
