Will Sidhu Jonnalagadda Come Out of Tillu Image with Telugu Kada?

Sidhu Jonnalagadda Tillu Image: With Sidhu Jonnalagadda built up as a popular name with huge messages for people after back-to-back successes of DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, quirky comedy, and sharp dialogues are his lifelines. However, these very successes proved to be a double-edged sword: it got to the point when the audience found it difficult to look beyond Sidhu in the Tillu image. Resultant falls in the fortunes of Jack led him to return a part of his remuneration. Now, Sidhu is reinventing himself as one would with the release of his next movie, ‘Telusu Kada’ under Neeraja Kona’s direction.

Also starring are Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty as the leading ladies, while TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad are producing it under the People’s Media Factory banner. The film is set for release on October 17; it has been scheduled as a Diwali special, and indeed, all eyes are on it.

Trailer Sparks Comparisons with Tillu Series

The recently released trailer of Telusu Kada caught the attention of the audience right away. Not just for its romantic tone but also for Tillu made light that had Tillu style humor and dialogues. The viewers saw a bold scene near the end which is receiving mixed reactions on social media. Sidhu clearly stated that he will not feature in that particular scene in the film and assured fans that Telusu Kada has a different emotional depth from his previous flicks.

Sidhu’s Clarity on His Character

On being compared to Tillu, Sidhu says that Telusu Kada portrays emotional relationships, love, and family from a more matured level. “There is intensity and emotion and honesty in this story. Tillu doesn’t come into this, it’s about transformation,” he said.

Director Neeraja Kona, on her part, defined the film as a fresh emotional entertainer which sheds light on the intricacies of love and relationships while keeping intact a certain level of humor.
