Among many fan theories, Dustin and Suzie are considered most likely to break up. Although adorable in their goofy way, the pair has seldom appeared together on screen except for a handful of shared scenes in two seasons. Besides, with Dustin grieving over Eddie’s death this season, it might seem such a romance would be given little storyline, letting them break up easily off-screen.
Another couple brought up by fans who might break up is Nancy and Jonathan. They have been together since the early seasons, but their outlooks diverge: Jonathan perceives his imminent move to NYU while Nancy gets absorbed into her studies.
