Kuberaa: Tamil star Dhanush straight second Telugu film ‘Kuberaa’, Sekhar Kammula directed this film. Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh played the lead roles in the film. The film crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office.

Kuberaa was released in all major South Indian languages and released in Hindi too. The Telugu version premiered on Star Maa, and it acquired a solid 8.08 TRP. This is a huge record in the present times.

Box Office collection

‘Kuberaa’ is a film about Rich Vs Poor, upon its release it received rave reviews from critics but after the initial week run, the collections slowly started to die down. 

Throughout its entire run Kuberaa collected more than 120 crores at the box-office. 

Reasons for negative feedback

Many audiences felt that Kuberaa is an age-old philosophical film, where communism takes the centre stage in its portrayal of rooting for the underdog. And the film lacked proper commercial high moments and any family emotional angle making them look at the film objectively. 

Dhanush next Telugu film?

It is being speculated that Dhanush will be acting under the direction of Venu Udugula. He already gave his nod to act in the film, UV productions will bankroll this film. More details will be announced soon.
