Dude Vs K-Ramp Vs Telusu Kada Vs Bison: These four movies eagerly awaited their big Diwali release in 2025: less than a year from now, Dude, Bison: Kaalamaadan, Telusu Kada, and K-Ramp would all be taking off. All weapons were fired over the festival weekend in favor of the audience. After a fantastic first-day box office collection in various languages, it stands witness to all that Day 2 has in store for contenders and the desperate scramble to attend.
Dude Continues to Reign
Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude has been riding at the box office by raking in heavy revenues. On Day 1, the film amassed almost ₹10 crores, and on Day 2, it continued to remain firm, adding ₹10-11 crores more. Thus, the total collection stands near the ₹20 crore figure after two days, making it comfortably the highest grosser among Diwali releases, with positive word-of-mouth promoting the film as a family crowd champion.
Telusu Kada Sees Good Growth
Telusu Kada, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, opened modestly but showed decent growth. The Telugu drama, which started with around ₹2 million harked in Day 1, finally grossed more than ₹4 million by the end of Day 2 as I am penning down this note. The steady rise speaks well for the audience, receiving a long life in theatres in the regional revenue markets.
Bison Steady, K-Ramp Falling Off
Bison, Kaalamaadan went reasonable with Dhruv Vikram starrer on Day-to-Date collections fairing between ₹3-4 crores, marginally higher than Day 1. While the numbers do not come near Dude’s, it has held steady enough on Tamil circuits. On the contrary, K-Ramp suffered a major drop after opening with collections of Day 2 below ₹0.1 crore, clearly showing poor retention without having sizeable repeat audiences.

Of these four, Dude has managed to stand out and is the winner so far across festive weeks; the others are Bison and Telusu Kada. The real all-star bout is between, however, Kantara Chapter 1, which has been enjoying packed houses since the Dasara weekend and bulldozing any competition, proving that good stories will eventually have their day.
