Dhruv Vikram: Mari Selvaraj recently released ‘Bison’ starring Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. The film earned 16 crores within three days of its release. Now bison is all set to release in Telugu, makers conducted a promotional event, in which Dhruv made some interesting comments.

A journalist asked him why Tamil filmmakers only make films based on caste based themes. Dhruv replied “In regards with Mari Selvaraj sir, he makes films based on stories that was inspired from his own life, i think every director has his own right to make his own work, I think films based on caste is important because of social situation like this in India and in southern parts of Tamilnadu”

He said he came to Hyderabad before for shopping but now for the first time he came to promote his film “Bison”, he said that Telugu people recognize him as Vikram’s son and he is very proud of that. He further went on to say that Telugu audience will definitely like ‘Bison’ and they should watch it on October 24th”
Bison a sports drama
Bison is a story of a Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan, it deals with the politics in sports and caste oppression in the sports world. The film released 3 days back in Tamil got good reviews, and now the film will hit the screens in Telugu on October 24th.
Dhruv sensational comments before the release
Dhruv Vikram made a statement before the release of the film saying that ‘Bison’ is his first official film. This drew a lot of criticism among the netizens, they flaked him by saying his film with his father Vikram under Karthik Subbaraj’s direction “Mahaan” is a very good film.
He explained that he gave that statement with the intention that he believes he gave his 100% best for the film. Many praised his performance in the film.
