Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Almost five years after the tragic demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The case is once again in the limelight. As per reports, the late actor’s family is prepping to file a case against the clean chit issued to actress Rhea Chakraborty by the CBI and other accused in this instance. The family is allegedly convinced that many key aspects of the case were ignored during the investigations, with Sushant’s quest for justice still incomplete.
The CBI, which took over the case in the year 2020, after nationwide protests. Concluded that there was no foul play and hence ruled out homicide. The CBI stated that Sushant died by hanging at his Bandra home in June 2020. Rhea Chakraborty, who was his girlfriend at that time, was exonerated of abetment charges after an exhaustive investigation. However, she and her brother Showik were charged under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs. And Psychotropic Substances NDPS Act in connection with the drug-related charges linked to this case.
Family Statement: “We Will Not Give Up”
Sushant’s family has always said that actor Sushant’s death was suspicious and deserves to be further looked into. Reports state that the family members are now contemplating challenging the closure report legally and asking to have it reopened. They are of the opinion that fresh evidence and new witness statements can help shine some light on the circumstances leading to Sushant’s death.

If the family decides to go legal, it is back to court again, possibly to reopen one of Bollywood’s most emotionally charged controversies.
