Baahubali: The Epic: Indeed the Baahubali series changed the visual storytelling for Indian cinema, now it’s again coming for a grand re-release. The producers have released the epic on the occasion of ten years of the first film having released. The epic has a slated theatrical release on October 31, to relive the magic that at one time mesmerized worldwide audiences.
The trailer was-you can say-all this issue had: a good 2.5 minutes. Mostly it’s a montage of some famous dialogue and some fast action shots. The trailers were nostalgic, ceremonial, and eternal. What is going to be new in the experience for everyone in the re-release is the remastered visuals and sound.
The two-part franchise by S.S. Rajamouli kick-started with Baahubali: The Beginning in 2015 and followed up with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion two years later. This transformed the essence of Indian cinema. The aforementioned entries now stand as the crowning glory and the most extravagant Indian movie ever made in the history of filmmaking and broke every box office record raising the bar at every front including script, visual effects and scope.
V. Vijayendra Prasad, father of Rajamouli, wrote the original Baahubali which was a takeaway of how and why movies in India have to be made and introduced new echelons of epic storytelling. The brilliance of M.M. Keeravani with mesmerizing songs and a back ground score remains so even today. Baahubali: The Epic has a runtime of 3 hours and 45 minutes-and this, as it were, foreshadows what can be a magnificently thrilling viewing experience that will once again remind viewers why this is indeed India’s greatest epic.
