OTT Deal Troubles

To add to the confusion, the OTT deal is still being negotiated. The IVY company is expected to clear around ₹220 crore of payment. Only then will the team get an NOC (No Objection Certificate), required to close the digital rights deal. This, in turn, holds the negotiation of the theatrical and non-theatrical business.

Heavy CG Work Still in Progress

Insiders say the post-production team is racing against time to finish the complex CG portions. The makers remain positive that everything can be wrapped up in the next two months but admit that it is becoming more challenging. Reports say that Maruthi is concentrating on visual polish for Raaja Saab as his product is expected by Prabhas on a pan-India level.

Prabhas’ Presence Speaks Louder Than Promotions

There has been “no major marketing push” yet, but company insiders say “Prabhas’ cutout is the promotion itself.” While Prabhas is deeply engaged in overseeing the progress, Producer Viswa is currently in the USA.
