About the Haq Movie Controversy:

The Haq movie has been in continuous controversy for the past few days. A legal notice has been filed against the filmmakers and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) by Siddiqua, the daughter of Shah Bano Begum, the woman at the center of the initial lawsuit. She claims that without getting permission from the family, the film strongly references her mother’s private life and court battle. This has brought up new issues regarding ethics, creative freedom, and the lines separating privacy infringement from inspiration.
