Haq Day 2 Box Office Collections: Can Yami–Emraan Atleast Recover Film Budget?

Haq Day 2 Box Office Collections: Can Yami–Emraan Atleast Recover Film Budget?

Haq Day 2 Box Office Collections: Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s latest courtroom drama, Haq. Opened up softly but did pretty well on the second-day improvement. It is slowly reaching the masses with very strong publicity and positive reviews for its social commentary and deep emotional drama. But then the big question is, can Haq hold it up long enough for cost recovery?

Haq Day 2 Box Office Collections:

With an unassuming opening, Haq was reported to have relieved a first day collection of ₹1.75 crore for the Indian territory (Friday). The next day saw a very palpable rise from an estimated collection of ₹3.35 crore (tentative) . With urban multiplex audiences finally coming into full view. Adding all that up, Haq’s collective collection in two days amounts to ₹5.10 million (above Indian net). Quite respectable for a mid-range budget film with little marketing.

Gradual Yet Promising Growth Curve

Clearly indicative of huge word of mouth for Day 1 to Day 2 is Yami Gautam’s powered performance and highly interesting courtroom scenes. Critics have heaped praise onto Emraan Hashmi’s performance, quiet but strong, and the overall tone and weight of social importance is resonating with the city crowds, especially in the three circuits of Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune.

However, overall footfall in mass centers remains pretty much below average, which shows the film indeed touches urban centers.
Here, much more is required to make the film recover production and promotional costs for Haq to fulfill this upward trend over Sunday and stable weekday trend collection.

Steady progress, but uncertain for fund recovery

There was a trend of positive growth from day one into the second frame for Haq, but the future prospect of profitability remains dim. If it manages to cross 10 crores by the end of the first weekend, the chances of recovery become brighter.

Two-Day Total: ₹5.10 Cr Verdict (So Far): Nice growth but budget recovery remains a hurdle.
