Later rumours came out stating SRK declined a role in Alia Bhatt’s ‘Chamunda’.
Recently the makers of Maddock films unveiled the upcoming projects under the Horror comedy universe. Recent reports suggest that Maddock Films approached King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan to be a part of their horror-comedy universe. The makers wanted to cast Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in Chamunda which is set to hit the theatres on 4th December 2026. This new pair thought is making fans go crazy.
According to sources, Shah Rukh Khan chose to forge his own path with Maddock Films and Amar Kaushik, opting to explore original and uncharted genres rather than joining an existing universe. He challenged the duo to craft something unique, leading to new potential titles for Chamunda. The trio is already brainstorming exciting future collaborations for King Khan, signaling fresh and innovative projects ahead. Recent reports suggest that now makers are planning to do a separate film for King Khan.
The poster unveiled by Shraddha Kapoor also revealed the exciting lineup of films from Maddock Films. The year 2025 starts with Thama set to release on Diwali 2025 followed by Shakti Shalini on 31st December. For 2026 the makers are planning to release two films. Bhediya 2 is set for 14th August 2026 followed by Chamunda on 4th December 2026. And 2027 comes with Stree 3 on 13th August 2027 and another sequel Maha Munjya on 24th December 2027. Finally by 2028 Pehla Mahayudh part 1 set for 11th August and Doosara Mahayudh part 2 for 18th October 2024.
