Telangana Police on High Alert:
After a major explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi on Monday evening (November 10, 2025), the Telangana Police have been placed on high alert across the State. The blast, which occurred in a parked car, caused a massive fire and claimed at least eight lives, leaving several others injured.
According to senior police officials, as part of standard security measures, all city police commissioners and district Superintendents of Police (SPs) were immediately informed by the Director General of Police (DGP) office. They were directed to strengthen surveillance and deploy Blue Colts and other field units to maintain tight security.
The officials emphasized that the main objective of this alert is to ensure public safety and prevent any spread of misinformation or panic following the Delhi incident. Police patrols have been increased, particularly in busy areas, transport hubs, and near important public places across Hyderabad and other major cities in Telangana.
Authorities have also urged citizens to remain calm but vigilant, asking them to immediately report any suspicious activities or objects. Security checks at railway stations, bus terminals, and government offices have been intensified as a precautionary measure.
The explosion in Delhi occurred near a crowded area close to the historic Red Fort and the metro station, leaving several vehicles engulfed in flames. Videos circulating on social media showed massive fire and smoke rising from the site.
The Telangana Police have assured that all preventive steps are being taken to ensure peace and security in the State. The high alert will continue until further instructions from the central agencies and Delhi Police.
This development comes just hours after another major recovery in Haryana, where nearly 2,900 kg of explosive materials were found in two residential buildings in Faridabad, raising serious concerns about possible coordinated threats.
As investigations into the Delhi blast continue, security forces across several states, including Telangana, remain on full alert to avoid any untoward incidents.
