Tharun revealed that before becoming a filmmaker, he worked as a wedding photographer. He shared that he used to work under India’s top celebrity wedding photographer, Joseph Radhik, who is known for covering many high-profile weddings.
During that time, Tharun got a surprise call for a wedding shoot in Bali. Without even asking whose wedding it was, he immediately agreed, just hearing “Bali” was enough to say yes. Later, he realized it was for the wedding of none other than business tycoon Vijay Mallya’s daughter.

Tharun Bhascker Dance with Deepika Padukone:
The most surprising part? Tharun was assigned to be the personal photographer for Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone throughout the event. He followed her to capture exclusive moments and even got to dance with her to the hit song Naakka Mukka. He also shared that “Throughout that shoot, I was continuously noticing Vijay Mallya; he has some aura and swag.” He also said that, “One point I noticed is, throughout the function, he has his personal assistant who carries his own brand ‘Kingfisher Beer”. Despite having choices to have other imported liquors, he still chose his own brand.
