Tere Ishk Mein Announcement Video: The announcement video for Tere Ishk Mein disappeared from all official platforms, leaving fans in confusion. The video was much discussed between film director Aanand L. Rai and actor Dhanush. A highly awaited teaser had mentioned the film Raanjhanaa quite clearly with the tag “From the world of Raanjhanaa”: “Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya…”
However, the clip was soon removed after speculation started doing the rounds about something deeper lying behind it.
Earlier this year, news leaked stating that Eros international would repromote Raanjhanaa with a different ending in 2025 using AI technology. The Director Aanand L. Rai came out openly denouncing the project, stating that he “didn’t like the idea of changing the original movie’s soul by AI.” The move supposedly strained Eros with Rai’s banner, Colour Yellow Productions.
Going by the gossip mill, Tere Ishk Mein, produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow, would have hit intellectual property hurdles because of the ownership rights of Raanjhanaa. Eros would have owned the IPR to Raanjhanaa and its characters; so the mention of “Kundan” or even broader references to the film’s world might be legally their territory. If so, then Eros would be entitled to oppose such elements in Tere Ishk Mein and thus force the producers to take down the teaser until the matter is clarified.
The new version of Tum Tak—the iconic song briefly teased in the announcement—also disappears from official channels. Whether it is part of reshuffling strategy or legal embargoes, it is still not clear.
For now, fans can only wait to see whether Tere Ishk Mein returns-with or without its Raanjhanaa connections.
