One of Bollywood’s most outspoken actresses, Ameesha Patel, dazzled fans by playing Sakina again in Gadar 2. The actress recently disclosed that after getting soaked in cold water while filming, she experienced a scary health crisis. However, her co-star Sunny Deol became a real-life hero and took care of her to make sure she was okay.
After filming a water sequence for the movie, Ameesha Patel recalls feeling psychologically and physically worn out in an open interview with Jarp Media. She revealed that she was in great distress after requesting hot water but instead got soaked in cold water, which was made worse by the fact that she was wearing a thin cotton salwar kameez.
The actress acknowledged that the crew of the movie tried several times to get her warmed up, even offering to massage brandy on her feet. But she became unconscious as her situation worsened.
She said, “After I finished the scene, which people don’t know, but my staff knows. They had to lift me and take me to my make-up van. I was unconscious. I did not wake up for three to four hours. People thought I was dead. I had reached the stage where people said, ‘She won’t survive.'”
After four hours, the actress from Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai finally woke up after her colleagues wrapped her in warm blankets. She was unable to recall the events of those hours, though.
Ameesha recalled, “Sunny sir was my real-life Tara Singh. He was there for Sakina when I needed him. You won’t believe he got a blood pressure machine from his room to check my blood pressure and my temperature with a thermometer.”
