The actor posted a picture of the clapperboard with the words Bhooth Bangla on it as she announced the news on social media. Her Instagram photo had the message, “Hum yahan bandh hain.” (We’re stuck here.)”
Following their collaboration on the 2000 film Hera Pheri, Tabu is reuniting with Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar. The actor was a natural fit for the part and the plot, which combines comedy, horror, and aspects of Indian mythology. She was eager to explore the fantastical world that Priyadarshan had created.
