Chaitanya Jonnalagadda: Akhil Raj and Tejaswini star in the film ‘Raju Weds Rambai‘, which features Chaitanya Jonnalagadda in the lead role. Directed by Sailu Kampati under ETV Win Productions, presented by Dr. Nageswara Rao Pujari, produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi, the film was released on the 21st of this month.

Now I am happy that the role of Venkanna that I played in ‘Raju Weds Rambai‘ and the film are getting a good response. I was supposed to do a film in the lead role at People Media Factory. While I was working on that film, I got a chance to play the role of a disabled person, Venkanna.

I practiced limping in the dark for this role. I didn’t want to use my name by saying that the hero Sidhu Jonnalagadda is my brother. I wanted to prove myself without any support. That’s why I’m not inviting Sidhu to any event related to our film.

Sidhu sent a message praising my performance in ‘Raju Weds Rambai‘. I am currently doing the film ‘Akashamlo Okta Tara’ under the direction of Pawan Sadhineni. I acted in the film ‘Magadu‘, which also stars Rajasekhar garu as the hero, under Pawan’s direction. “If I get a chance, I will act with Sidhu,” he said.
