Palash Muchhal’s PR Defends His Cheating

Palash Muchhal’s PR Defends His Cheating

Palash Muchhal’s PR: A recent post on social media from an account called “Goatlified” has ignited furious debates across the web about the perceived double standards in public responses to the personal lives of male and female celebrities. The post, which is fast going the rounds, contrasts actress Anushka Sharma’s alleged dating history with that of musician Palash Muchhal’s past relationship, raising the issue of what it terms “selective feminist outrage.”

Anushka Sharma’s dating history highlighted

The viral post claims that Anushka Sharma dated five men before marrying cricketer Virat Kohli-yet faced neither serious disapproval nor moral judgment from the public. Instead, it states that her affairs were judged as being very okay and a very normal thing on her part, with no backlash from social media.

In this case, it is argued that the women in the public eye tend to receive more sympathy from the public regarding their dating choices, especially in talks tied to feministic and gender debates.

Palash Muchhal Is Being Smeared Beyond Repair

On the contrary, it argues Palash Muchhal is being intensely criticized all over for his previous relationship with choreographer Birva Shah, especially as there are talks of him being engaged to cricketer Smriti Mandhana.

Reports have identified Birva Shah-who was seen with Palash in those viral pictures-as the ex-girlfriend whom he had even been alleged to have proposed to back in 2017. This insider information-along with rumors of a new romantic interest-gave rise to an avalanche of scrutiny towards Palash, especially in the social media arena.

Palash Muchhal’s PR: Selective Outrage

The post from “Goatlified” alleges that “feminists” are inordinately attacking Palash Muchhal for his past while simply ignoring Anushka Sharma’s earlier relationships. The post claims that the different reactions exemplify an obvious double standard in society; a gender-based one as far as judgments regarding romantic histories are concerned.

Larger Issues of Bias

While comments on the post may have been polarized, one thing is for sure, and that is that it has opened great discourse on public bias, celebrity privacy, and whether judgment on romance is swayed by gender.
