Sudigali Sudheer must be quite an unconventional hero; yet, he became well-known much before he became a hero, owing to his exceptionally popular television comedy shows that helped him acquire a huge fan following. Riding this wave of popularity, he signed a flurry of films, a few of which have seen the light of day while he has others lined up. Currently, Sudheer hitched a ride with two big projects: GOAT and Hailessa. Here’s what happens next behind the scenes. Why Is Sudigali Sudheer Missing From GOAT Promotions?
Sudheer started working on the film GOAT in 2023. The film is produced by Mogulla Chandrasekhar under Jaishnav Production and Maharaja Creations, with an initial charge to its direction placed upon Naresh Kuppili. While the project was designed to be made with a modest budget of ₹3-5 crores, the production cost, as reported, went through the roof. For this reason, accordingly, the popular gossip is that the director Naresh Kuppili midway exited the film.
Sudheer Not Attending for Promotions?
The film’s shooting was completed after many postponements and internal issues. Ideally, with the shoot finishing, the team should be announcing and gearing up promotional events. However, reports have surfaced stating that Sudheer has been absent from these events, causing a complication with the release schedule.
From within the industry comes talk of a spat between ex-director Naresh Kuppili and producer Chandrasekhar. Naresh left the project for financial reasons, and some claim he is now whispering in Sudheer’s ear to back off from promotions, which heightens tensions surrounding the film.
Irrespective of whether any backstage issue is in play, members of the industry feel that any hero, let alone the one leading the publicity, should stand behind the film until release and any distancing from such an act at this stage sends out the completely wrong message.
Apparently, producer Chandrasekhar has taken the matter to the Producers’ Council and necessary unions with protests regarding the absence of Sudheer during promotions. As for now, there has not been any official pronouncement however. The aggravation of the producer is allegedly shared with his inner circle, musing as to who would even take the lead in a hind-sighted direction.

While Sudheer has a certain public favor, trade analysts believe box-office pull ranges around ₹3 crores. Nevertheless, it is said that Chandrasekhar invested between ₹12-14 crores in the project. Such an amount meant a greater reliance on Sudheer’s market, and with barely any noise made from his end, Sudheer’s silence is becoming a matter of serious concern for the producer.
