Thamma OTT Release: Two movies starring Rashmika Mandanna are making their way to OTT platforms this week. The first one is The Girlfriend, which will start streaming on Netflix on Friday. Along with that, Rashmika’s recent horror film has also gone digital without much delay. Many viewers are now curious: What is this movie about, and where can it be watched?
Rashmika has been juggling both Telugu and Hindi films this year. During Diwali, she appeared before the audience with the horror thriller “Thama”, a part of Bollywood’s popular ‘Stree’ universe. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana as the male lead and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the antagonist. In this movie, Rashmika plays a unique role, a blood-drinking vampire girl, which received good appreciation from audiences.
Thama, which was released in theatres on October 21, is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Currently, it is streaming on a rental basis in both Telugu and Hindi. The platform has not yet announced when it will be available for free viewing.

Story Summary:
In Thama, Alok Goyal (Ayushmann Khurrana) is a journalist who travels to a hill station with his friends for a news assignment. While there, he is attacked by a bear but is saved by Tadka (Rashmika), a young woman belonging to the Betala tribe. Members of this tribe drink human blood and possess supernatural powers.
The tribe had earlier punished their leader, Yakshasan, also known as Thamma (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), for a grave mistake, imprisoning him in a cave for decades. When they learn that Alok has entered their territory, they try to kill him. However, Tadka helps him escape.
As Tadka and Alok spend time together, she falls in love and decides to leave her tribe to live among humans. The rest of the story follows the twists in their relationship. When does Alok discover that Tadka is a vampire? How is this story connected to Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2? And what happens in the end?
