Dhurandhar Ticket Prices Hiked: Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is the long-awaited action thriller starring Ranveer Singh. The film saw a release on December 5, 2025, and instantly became a hot topic. The film opened well, earning ₹32.5 crore gross worldwide on its Day 1; much interest was generated not just by the star cast and storyline, but also for the varying ticket prices across cities in India. With more than 6,200 shows in India alone, cinema chains are preparing for heavy pickup in the coming days.
In Mumbai, early-morning shows starting at 12:45 am are being run by theatres like Maxus Cinemas, Bhayander. Ticket prices for the early bird shows range from ₹149- ₹499, while late-night shows (11:00 pm and 11:55 pm) may be sold at ₹599. Ticket prices have been reported by multiplexes between ₹210–₹1,550, and single screens are charging ₹90–₹150.
The first shows here started as early as 8 am, with multiplex tickets from ₹250–₹2,300; single-screen cinemas are still cheap at ₹90. In Bengaluru, prices at multiplexes are pegged at ₹200–₹1,650, and for single screens, starting ticket prices are ₹120. Price differences reflect location and seating options offered.
The audience, undeterred by a long runtime of 214 minutes and an A certificate, Trade analyst Komal Nahta said, “If content is strong, the length or certification does not matter. Animal was long and A-certified, and still, it was a blockbuster.”

Now with the increasing number of shows, enhanced pricing, and positive word-of-mouth, Dhurandhar is expected to maintain its momentum. Business analysts maintain that it may breach the ₹302 crore lifetime collection of Padmaavat within a few weeks. The hype surrounding Dhurandhar, coupled with star power and shrewd pricing, made it the most- discussed release of 2025.
