This Week Theatrical Releases: December always signals the arrival of fresh new movies and so has this very month of the year but its first week left viewers completely unaffected or unsatisfied. Major projects like the much-anticipated Akhanda 2 have delayed without a prior notice from their theatres, giving very few releases this week.
However, the second week of December holds big promises as it is set to release a huge number of films at the same time. Among the many films set to release on December 12, another significant film would be making its arrival on December 13. A total of 16 titles are releasing This Week Theatrical Releases.

Spotlight releases worth viewing
From the titles of December 12 releases, Mowgli has found particular notice. Produced by TG Vishwaprasad, in People Media Factory, this film stars Roshan Kanakala, son of eminently visible anchor Suma, appearing with Sakshi Mandodkar. Penned by director Sandeep Raj of Colour Photo fame, the trailer makes an impression that raises expectations even more.
Nandu and Yamini Bhaskar act in Psych Siddharth, who is generating good pre-release buzz. This has potential for the comeback of Nandu, who has been actively seeking a chance, as this psychological thriller may become the breakthrough.
High-octane drama for today’s youth, directed by N.H. Prasad, features Vinay Varma and Chandrakala S in lead roles. Its bold theme and very interesting promos have already garnered much attention among young audiences.

Officially a horror-thriller featuring spooky teasers released from the production house HPR Productions. Backed by KL Damodar Prasad, Eesha is likely to be quite picked up by horror fans.
The very next movie, Evadi Cinema Ki Vaade Hero, slated for release on December 13, is yet another addition to this crowded battalion.
This week will be action-packed at the box office with 17 films releasing in two days. Which film, however, wins spectators’ hearts and numbers at the box office, is yet to be determined.
