Kriti Sanon Statement On Mahesh Babu: Kriti Sanon has once again gone back into the talk of social media with an new interview video clip. She starred with Mahesh Babu in 1: Nenokkadine in her Telugu debut, and in this video, the National Award-winning actress is talking about her early days in the Telugu film industry and working with Mahesh Babu.
According to Kriti, while signing the film, she had very little knowledge about South Indian cinema. She mostly watched Hindi films; hence, she said that she did not know how big a superstar Mahesh Babu was at that time. The candidness has gone viral now, fueling discussions regarding the newer generation of actors adapting to the different film industries in India.
In the resurfaced statement, Kriti has, without any inhibition, explained how casually and chill she was introduced to Mr. Mahesh Babu and what would surprise her the most.
“It was all very new for me. I didn’t watch Telugu films at that time, so I genuinely didn’t know how big a superstar Mahesh Babu was. I met him in a very chilled-out manner, like how you meet a senior in the craft. Only after we started shooting did I realise the craze he carries.”
With these statements, she has demeaned herself as a newcomer and the cultural gap faced by many actors entering a new industry.
Kriti had good things to say about Sukumar: “a lovely, honest, transparent human being who can’t fake anything,” and credited the team for helping her adjust to an unfamiliar territory, thus making her debut a wonderful learning experience.
