She starred with Mahesh Babu in 1: Nenokkadine in her Telugu debut, and in this video, the National Award-winning actress is talking about her early days in the Telugu film industry and working with Mahesh Babu.

According to Kriti, while signing the film, she had very little knowledge about South Indian cinema. She mostly watched Hindi films; hence, she said that she did not know how big a superstar Mahesh Babu was at that time. “It was all very new for me. I didn’t watch Telugu films at that time, so I genuinely didn’t know how big a superstar Mahesh Babu was. I met him in a very chilled-out manner, like how you meet a senior in the craft. Only after we started shooting did I realise the craze he carries.”
