In the clip, the superstar reportedly addressed a high-spirited audience, with many fans venting speculation that he was hinting at the sequel to his much-anticipated Pathaan, which released in 2023. However, the big question remains, did SRK declare Pathaan 2, or is it just another rumor blown out of proportion?

The whole confusion started when snippets from the Dubai event came out with captions saying that Shah Rukh Khan made an official announcement regarding the sequel. Impressive hysteria broke out amongst fans, with immediate sharing of the video on all platforms, and trending “Pathaan 2” within minutes. So all these rumors about Pathaan 2 easily seemed believable: Given the gargantuan success of the film and SRK’s roaring return to action.

Back to the footage; it has a different story to tell. While Shah Rukh Khan did acknowledge the love Pathaan received globally, he never made an explicit announcement about a sequel.

At the Dubai event, the owner of a brand said “Koi blockbuster movie hoti hai toh uska ek sequel hota hai, am I right? Like Pathaan. Pathaan 2 aa rahi hai. Toh koi movie aap dekho, toh uska sequel hoga.”

On the other hand, Shah rukh khan is busy with the shooting of upcoming film King. Fans are still waiting for the official announcement from the makers regarding the highly anticipated sequel of Pathaan.
