Kartik Aaryan revealed that he purposefully visited malls to gain recognition, demonstrating his tremendous determination as a self-described workaholic.
Kartik Aaryan recently discussed the consequences of his unrelenting work ethic, calling himself as a ‘workaholic times 100’. He admitted to being burned out, stating that he frequently feels as if he knows nothing but work. In an honest moment, he stated that he hasn’t had the opportunity to pause and reflect, comparing his life to a race with no finish line. He also admitted to intentionally walking into malls in the hopes of being spotted by admirers.
He went on to say that one of his favorite experiences was when someone asked for a selfie and recognized him. In fact, he would purposely walk around malls in search of that attention. He said: “I would in fact walk into a mall deliberately so that people recognise me.”
The 33-year-old actor acknowledged the consequences of his hard work ethic. Since beginning his adventure in 2011, he has seen the ups and downs of fame, with hits and flops molding his career. He reminisced on how his early concentration was mainly on getting his first film and retaining awareness in the industry, where he was frequently referred to as the ‘monologue guy’.
Kartik Aaryan stated a desire for variety in his profession. However the continual pressure of work has left him with little time for self-reflection. He said: “I haven’t had the chance to sit and back reflect because I am in a race with no finish line.”
The actor acknowledged to feeling burned out from the constant hustling and knowing the importance of personal leisure, but he finds it difficult to disconnect from his career. “I suppose I need some time for myself; I’m getting a little tired of working all the time. But the issue is, I don’t know anything other than work. I tried it, however it did not work for me. “I’m a workaholic x 100,” he continued.
