Salman Khan Bailed on 5 AM ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ Shoot: Nikkhil Advani Tells All. Nikkhil Advani recently gave a smashing film Vedaa starring John Abhraham and Sharvari Wagh in lead roles. Though the film didn’t perform well at the box office, SHarvari got huge praise for her exceptional performance. Now the director candidly spoke about the struggles he faced with Salman Khan while shooting for their film Salaam-E-Ishq released in 2007. The film features the stars of Bollywood including Salman Khan, Govinda, Juhi Chawla, Anil Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra.
In the interview, Nikhil candidly said, “We kept Salman awake for the whole night because he said that I couldn’t come at 5 in the morning. ‘Either sit with me and I will go to sleep straight at 10 AM’! So, we stayed awake, took him, shot, finished shooting and then he went to sleep. For me, it has always been about finishing the day quickly.” This particular incident was highlighted showcasing the struggles of making a movie.
In the same interview, Nikhil was asked if he would know how to take care of the situations on set. Nikhil Advani then responded by saying, “Mostly when the actor is coming through a casting process, people like you [Mukesh Chhabra] already know that they are not going to send some rubbish people. Like Chandan Roy Sanyal in D-Day, in one second you go ‘superb!’ So I have full trust in the process like I trust my DoP, I want to trust my casting director in the same way.”
Salman Khan has been busy throughout the year making cameos in the films. This Bollywood star appeared in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Varun Dhawan’s Baby John. Salman Khan will make it to theatres with Sikandar along with Rashmika Mandanna for this Eid 2025. He is also a part of another film with A.R. Murugadoss and the details about the film are under tight wraps.
