Padmaavat Re-Release Postponed: Here’s New Release Date For Epic Saga. Padmaavat, starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor made its grand theatrical debut back in 2018. The film was an instant hit made with a massive budget of Rs 250 crore. The epic saga of heroism directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was released on 25th January 2018 and now the film is all set to find its way again to theatres. The film was initially set for re-release on 24th January 2025, but now the makers have unveiled the new release date. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh’s Padmaavat Re-Release Postponed. Initially, the makers have announced the re-release date of Padmaavat on 24th January 2025. Now the makers are yet again back with a new re-release date of epic saga. Bhansali Productions along with others unveiled the new release date with an exciting poster. The film Padmaavat is all set to hit theatres again on 6th February 2025. The newly released poster features Deepika Padukone and captioned the post “The epic saga re-releases on a new date – 6th February 2025! Relive the iconic tale on the big screen ✨ #PadmaavatOn6thFeb”

Epic Story Of Padmaavat

Set in 1303 AD medieval India, Padmaavat is the story of honour, valour and obsession. Queen Padmavati(Deepika Padukone) is known for her exceptional beauty along with a strong sense of justice. And is the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh(Shahid Kapoor) and the pride of the Kingdom of Chittor, a prosperous kingdom in the northwest of India. The legend of her beauty reaches the reigning sultan of Hindustan – Allaudin Khilji(Ranveer Singh). He then declares war on their kingdom due to his obsession with her. What happens next is the rest of the story. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, made with a budget of Rs 250 crore and collected Rs Rs 302.15 crore making it the third highest-grossing film of the year.
