Kartik Aaryan Sets His Sights on Surpassing Shah Rukh Khan. Kartik Aaryan has become the busiest actor in Bollywood after back-to-back hits in 2024. With an exciting lineup of films in the coming year, Kartik seems to be interested in hosting events. Recently on 14th January 2025, Kartik Aaryan attended the IIFA 2025 pre-event in Mumbai. The event was also graced by none other than the most entertaining Host Shah Rukh Khan. As Kartik is going to host the IIFA 2025 award ceremony in Jaipur and Rajasthan in the month of Rajasthan, he reveals his goals after Shah Rukh Khan.
In the IIFA 2024 pre-event in Mumbai, Kartik openly revealed his desire to be second best at hosting after Shah Rukh Khan. At the event, Kartik Aaryan said, “I think I’m just too happy to be a part of the 25th anniversary of IIFA. Who is going to host? I hope to do the main second-best hosting because no one can beat these (points at Shah Rukh). Shah Rukh sir whenever hosting kiye hai ya perform kiye hai (I’m going to host. I hope I can do second best hosting because nobody can beat him. Whenever Shah Rukh sir has hosted, performed), I think he has been at it, he has been wonderful. It’s always been like a stadium effect when he comes on stage. So I’m just happy to be a part of this entire.”
In the same interview, Kartik also spoke about the upcoming event which is going to take place in March. The Chandu Champion actor said, “I am thrilled to celebrate the global success of Indian cinema in the vibrant heart of Jaipur, Rajasthan, as I take on the honour of hosting IIFA’s historic 25th-anniversary celebration this March. Making my debut as the host for the world’s biggest celebration of Indian cinema is something I have eagerly waited for, And it’s the perfect way to kick off 2025.” He further said that the IIFA grand event will be a feast for fans across the world.
