Sidharth Malhotra And Janhvi Kapoor To Collaborate For Rom-Com?

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are reportedly collaborating with director Tushar Jalota on a romantic comedy titled Param Sundari. According to previous reports, Malhotra and the lead actress, Janhvi Kapoor, were supposed to star in a thriller but decided to change their plans and work on a rom-com. Now recent speculations hint that Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are collaborating on a romantic comedy titled Param Sundari.

According to Mid Day, Jalota’s directorial debut recounts the traditional story of opposites attracting, with Malhotra’s role from North India and Kapoor’s character from Kerala.

In the story, Malhotra plays a sophisticated and affluent Delhi business magnate, and Janhvi plays a modern artist with strong beliefs and principles. According to a source, the film depicts how two characters fell in love despite their dissimilar personalities.

Pre-production has begun on the romantic picture, which will be the starring pair’s debut collaboration. Jalota, who directed Dasvi (2022), starring Abhishek Bachchan, is allegedly planning to begin filming Param Sundari in December.

According to the source, the first filming period would commence in Delhi with Sidharth. Following that, the team intends to travel to Kerala for a shoot. Following this the remaining scenes would be shot on specially designed sets at a Mumbai studio.

The production design crew has been charged with designing two extravagant sets in Mumbai, one reflecting a big Delhi mansion. And the other showcasing the earthy interiors of traditional Kerala homes. If everything goes as planned, filming should be completed by February 2025.

Sheetal Sharma, who previously worked on Munjya and Stree 2, is also the costume designer for the production, and look tests for both actors were recently done.

Given that the film’s title is based on Kriti Sanon’s dance routine from Mimi (2021), there is conjecture that she may appear in the Dinesh Vijan production. However, the producers have remained tight-lipped about any potential involvement.

Meanwhile, Malhotra was recently seen in Dharma Productions’ Yodha, which also starred Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna. Janhvi was last seen in Devara opposite JR NTR, which earned excellent reviews from both fans and reviewers.
