In an interview, Hirani shared that Aamir has a unique habit of writing down all his dialogues by hand to memorize them better.

Hirani, who has worked with Aamir on blockbuster films like 3 Idiots and PK, explained that the actor believes physically writing his lines helps him absorb them more effectively. “Aamir doesn’t just read the script; he rewrites his dialogues himself. Hirani revealed that Warsi thrives on improvisation and often deviates from the script, adding his own flair to the character. Initially, Hirani insisted that Warsi stick to the written lines, but over time, he realized that the actor’s spontaneity added magic to the performance.

Comparing the two, Hirani said, “Aamir is meticulous. He prepares in advance, rewrites his dialogues, and ensures every word is perfect. Arshad, on the other hand, reads the scene, understands the mood, and then plays around with the lines, often making them even better than what was originally written.”
