Farzi, one of the best Indian Hindi-language comedy crime thriller series released on Amazon Prime Video, has now completed 2 years since it’s been released.
The eight- episode series was released on 10 february 2023. farzi received huge love from the audience and also got positive reviews, thus made it once, the most watched Indian streaming series.
Now, as the series completed 2 years, amazon prime video has come up with an Instagram post by celebrating 2 years of Farzi.
The post captioned:
“2 years since Sunny & Firoz’s artistic flair that gave everyone a run for their money 💸
#2YearsOfFarzi”
The post had 10 slides which included the best moments and frames from the series.
The first picture was a single snap, of Actor Shahid Kapoor. Followed by some slides showcasing the iconic dialogues, thoughts, ideas and visions from the series.
The iconic court-scene of Actor Vijay Sethupathi , The dialogues told by Rashi Khanna and the trend-setter meme worthy dialogues are also a part of the post.
The tribute post ends with, three snaps in horizontals- one 500 rupee note’s snap, a snap where it’s written ‘CREATED BY RAJ7 DK’, and with a spectular image of the title card (FARZI), in between the previously discussed snaps.
As Farzi has completed 2 years, fans are still waiting for an announcement from the series’ makers about a second season for the same.
Also, as soon as Prime Video’s post is made, thousands of comments are asking the updates regarding the second season.
Sunny, an artist who failed to maintain his grandfather’s large printing press, is demoralized by the disparity in money in India. He chooses to work with Firoz, his best friend, to create fake currency. They face challenges from Mansoor, a gangster, and Michael, a cop. According to co-creator Raj Nidimoru, the title refers to counterfeiting, as well as the “fakeness” inherent in people.
