But now Bollywood somehow fails to create such iconic couples on screen.

Deepika Padukone& Hrithik Roshan
Deepika and Hrithik, both of them are two of the most celebrated actors in India. When the news came out that, both of these ravishing stars were going to pair-up together in the 2024 movie- Fighter, the internet went crazy. People were eagerly waiting for the visual couple to be seen on the screen together. But in contrary to the audiences’ expectations this duo failed to deliver a good on-screen chemistry.

In the 2008 movie Kismat konnection, Shahid and Vidya shared the screen together as a couple. Even though the couple have been rumored to have dated, people called this pairing- a mismatch. They even trolled Vidya for looking older than Shahid.

The 2022 film Gehraiyaan starring Deepika Padukone dealt with problems of the modern-era relationships. In this movie, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi shared screen with the actress as her partner. Nawazzudin Siddiqui& Avneet Kaur
In the movie Tiku weds Shiru – a Kangana Ranaut directorial, actress Avneet Kaur and actor Nawazzudin Siddiqui played their roles as a couple. The internet slammed Kangana for casting them as a couple because of their age gap therefore, a 27 years age gap between the actors made the audience disturbed. The movie met with several backlashes on social media as Nawazuddin and Avneet shared a passionate kiss on the screen.
