70th Filmfare Awards Winners Full List: The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 held in EKA Arena, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, turned the city into the heart of Bollywood for one glorious evening. The ever-captivating hosts of the evening were Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, along with the extremely energetic, Maniesh Paul, who made the night a celebration of the finest in Hindi cinema over the past year. With the right mix of humor, drama, and glamour, the awards made for an unforgettable evening for the stars and the audience alike.

Laapataa Ladies Reigns Supreme

Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies was perhaps the biggest winner of the night, having taken home several important awards, including Best Film and Best Director. Heartwarming in its storytelling yet with a refreshing take, the film truly struck a chord with audiences and critics alike, eventually winning 13 awards, equalling the historic tally set by Gully Boy. The performances of the cast Pratibha Ranta and Nitanshi Goel received accolades as well, emphasizing the strength of the film’s ensemble with some great new talent.


Big Noms Shine in The Acting Honors

In acting categories, fighting for glory together were Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan sharing Best Actor for I Want to Talk and Chandu Champion. Alia Bhatt completed her streak by being awarded Best Actress for Jigra, alongside Rajkummar Rao winning Critics’ Best Actor for Srikanth. Rising stars also took the spotlight, with Lakshya being awarded Best Debut (Male) for Kill.
