Aamir Khan Comments On Early Career Insecurities. Aamir Khan is one of the most celebrated veteran actors of Bollywood. He started his career in 1988 and has been surviving in the industry for the past 36 years. To be the big star he is now he had to come a long way facing all the obstacles. In his recent interview, the actor spoke about difficulties in his journey. He admitted that he had insecurities in the early stage of his life. The insecurities made him an alcoholic and he used to drink all night because of them. He further shared how he overcame his Insecurities and succeeded in Bollywood.
Aamir Khan revealed that he had fears and felt inferior at the beginning of his career. He disclosed that it was due to his height. The actor thought the audience would not accept him because of his short height.
He shared, “I used to feel that what if people don’t accept me because of my height. This was my fear. But later, I realized that all of this does not matter at all. But at that time, some kind of insecurity creeps in.”
Eventually, the actor understood that to survive in the industry it is not the physical feature but the good work that is required. Developing good relationships in the industry and working hard made him overcome his insecurities. Khan also spoke about his bad habits and mistakes. He revealed that understanding his mistakes helped a lot in bouncing back in his career. “The problem is that I am an extremist man, so I continue to do what I am already doing. It’s not a good thing, and I realize that. I also know that I am doing the wrong thing, but I can’t stop myself,” he explained.
