President Murmu: For the Olympic winners, Aamir Khan has traveled to Delhi to see a special showing of his movie Sitaare Zameen Par. At Rashtrapati Bhavan, the superstar also had a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu.

The official X handle of the President of India shared a photo on Tuesday featuring Aamir Khan and President Droupadi Murmu smiling for the cameras. The post was captioned, “Acclaimed filmmaker and actor Shri Aamir Khan called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.” The meeting came shortly after the release of Aamir Khan’s latest film, Sitaare Zameen Par, which hit theatres on June 20 and has been receiving positive reviews from both critics and audiences.

Sitaare Zameen Par:
Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar are among the ten neurodivergent actors who appear in the movie.

RS Prasanna is the director of Sitaare Zameen Par. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composed the music. Divy Nidhi Sharma wrote the screenplay. Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit are the film’s producers, along with B Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka. Zeenat Hussain, the 90-year-old mother of Aamir Khan, also makes her acting debut in Sitaare Zameen Par. Nikhat Hegde, an actor, and his older sister will also appear in the movie.
