One of India’s most popular celebrities, Aamir Khan frequently works on movies with a variety of themes. Taare Zameen Par, which focused on a child with dyslexia, was one such movie. Junaid Khan, the actor’s son, recently disclosed that after hearing the script for the movie, his parents discovered he had dyslexia.

Junaid Khan said in a recent interview with Vickey Lalwani on his YouTube channel that his parents, Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, heard the script for the highly regarded movie Taare Zameen Par, which led to the discovery of his dyslexia. They sought professional counsel after recognizing that he had identical symptoms. Additionally, it had little impact on his life because he was younger when he started treatment.

“When they heard the script of Taare Zameen Par, they were like, ‘Ek second… We have seen this in our lives’. And actually, it was at that point that they took me to a specialist, and I was diagnosed with dyslexia,” he shared.

One significant factor that made his trip easier, according to Khan, was his early dyslexia diagnosis and support. He conveyed his appreciation for the same and revealed that, as a result of the problem, his parents were not severe about his academic achievement in school or college.

The actor explained, “Neither of my parents were particular about my results… I was also diagnosed with dyslexia very early on. So, I think they were mindful of that, especially in schooling.”

Regarding his career, Junaid Khan debuted as an actor in the 2024 Netflix movie Maharaj, which also starred Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharvari. The actor’s upcoming film, Loveyapa, which stars Khushi Kapoor, has released its first song. Additionally, the actor is working on Ek Din with Sai Pallavi.
