During the release of his movie Maa, Ajay Devgn was questioned about the demand for the 8-hour shift that had created controversy in Bollywood. He replied, “Most truthful filmmakers will not mind it. Other than that, being a mother and working eight hours, most have begun working eight-nine-hour shifts.”. His comments were interpreted as a clear backing of Deepika, underlining the fact that work-life balance has to be given importance in the industry.
