Akshay Kumar Clarifies On Leaving Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss Set. According to a number of sources, Salman Khan’s tardiness was the reason why Akshay Kumar departed the Bigg Boss finale set without filming with him. Akshay has now come forward to correct the record, stating that he had to leave the sets because he had prior obligations that needed to be attended to.
Additionally, Akshay revealed that he had checked in with Salman to make sure everything was alright before leaving.
Akshay was in Delhi on Monday to promote Sky Force, his next movie. During the Delhi press conference, Akshay revealed that he spoke with Salman on the phone and that the actor was having trouble with a personal issue.
He was questioned about leaving the Bigg Boss 18 set without shooting with Salman during the press conference. To which, Akshay said, “I was running late for something. I spoke to Salman and he was stuck with something personal. He told me that he would be late by around 40 minutes. But I had to leave because I had a prior commitment”. “Mujhe jana pada… However, we spoke about it,” Akshay added.
Salman and Akshay were scheduled to film the Bigg Boss finale yesterday. However, he left since he had test screenings for Jolly LLB 3, one of his other flicks. “Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2.15 pm. But Salman hadn’t come by then. Akshay waited an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 on his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show,”a source told HT City, adding that despite repeated demands for him to come back, he refused to move.
