Shraddha Kapoor’s Character in Munjya:
Aditya revealed in a recent media interview, the film’s writer had originally imagined Munjya from a female viewpoint, including a lesbian female protagonist named Bittu. Shraddha Kapoor had even done a look-test for the original concept, which focused on Bittu’s emotional journey and her love for her closest friend.

This was the initial story. The film’s writer, Yogesh Chandekar, used a female protagonist and a female point of view. Back then, Bittu was a girl. Her best buddy is the object of her adoration. She identifies as a lesbian. No one can comprehend her. Aditya remarked, “Only Rajji gets her.” “I’m in love with my best friend; nobody would get that,” she says to Rajji. Alia Bhatt & Shraddha Kapoor For Munjya Role:

According to the sources, initially, they decided to go for either Alia Bhatt or Shraddha Kapoor. But after the look and screen test, they have chosen Shraddha Kapoor. It is said that after Aditya had become an official director for the film, he made the decision to change the story a little bit and make it more focused. For this point, he said, “In my opinion, a movie’s central plot and heart should always remain the same, not different. He clarified, “The audience doesn’t get too many things; they come to focus on just one, and that’s what they want.”
