In a recent podcast, when asked about the allegations faced by Karan Johar the Call Me Bae actress said, “He (Karan Johar) is very perceptive and very open, and he doesn’t want to shield himself, so I didn’t think he wants it for any of us, you know. He wants us to be in the real world and get as much exposure as possible. The actress feels that she can stand up for herself and doesn’t need a shield.

Ananya was asked if Karan has kept any bubble around her to protect, then the CTRL actress said, “Not at all. He is the first one to pop the bubble. Rather than feeding us, ki yeh karna hai woh karna hai (telling us to do this or that), he’s just there as a strong pillar of support.” She also revealed that Karan will be the first one to call up if he didn’t like Ananya’s performance.

The Call Me Bae beauty is last seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s thriller CTRL. Ananya Pandey has also made her digital debut with Call Me Bae in an Amazon Prime video and received a massive hit. The actress is currently shooting for the second season of Call me bae. The actress will also be a part of Shankara which also stars Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan in lead roles.

Now the actress is back with yet another project Chand Mera Dil alongside Lakshya directed by Vivek Soni and Backed by Karan Johar. This marks the third collaboration for Ananya and Karan after Student of the Year 2 and Call Me Bae. Ananya Pandey is probably becoming the next superstar of Bollywood.
